BENITO JUAREZ

Born on March 21, 1806, in San Pablo Guelato, 

Oaxaca,Mexico, Benito Juarez was president of Mexico,(1852-1872) and for three years(1864-1867) fought against foreign occupation under archduke Maximiliam of Austria, who was finally captured by Mexican forces and executed him. Juarez also sought constitutional reforms to create a democratic federal republic.

He died on july 18,1872.
